About Rachel

Rachel Savage is a pop Australian singer/songwriter. She’s always had a love for music and writing ever since she was a child. Singing has always been part of her and has shaped who she is as a person.
She says that in her opinion her ability to write lyrics has been her strongest asset as a musician. When Rachel writes she allows the lyrics to tell a story that a lot of her audience can relate to.
Her original pop sound combines honeyed riffs and layered hooks paired with sweet vocals relating to storytelling lyrics.
Although born in Perth, Western Australia, she has worked from both Nashville and Los Angeles, but now bases herself in Sydney, Australia.
While her music roots are in Country, her style evolved into Pop and her storytelling lyrics and unique vocals give Rachel a signature sound.
Most of her songs now are born out of personal experience and are usually honest and raw.
She spent two years at the School of Performing Arts NSW and then studied at AIM Australian Institute of Music.
